Terms of Use
Last updated 16 September 2026
By creating an account or using Hi5 you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your sign-in details private, give accurate information, and you are responsible for what happens on your account.
Community rules
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats or discrimination.
- No illegal activity, scams, spam or misleading listings.
- No sexual content involving minors, and no adult content.
- Do not post other people's private information.
- Only post activities you actually intend to run.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Objectionable content can be reported at any time and we aim to act within 24 hours.
Meeting people in person
Hi5 helps people find each other, but we do not run, supervise or vet the activities listed. Hosts are responsible for their own activities. Meet in public where you can, tell someone where you are going, and use your judgement. You take part at your own risk.
Trust levels
Labels such as Community Host, Verified Professional and Verified Business are indicators only. They are not a guarantee of a person's qualifications, licensing, insurance or safety. Always check credentials yourself where it matters.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting you give us permission to display and distribute it within Hi5 so the app can work. You confirm you have the right to post it.
AI assistant
The in-app assistant offers suggestions based on listings in the app. It can be wrong or incomplete and is not professional advice.
Service and liability
Hi5 is provided "as is". We do not promise it will always be available or error free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses, or for anything that happens between members offline.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we need to protect the community.
